Friends

Through our life we meet lots and lots of people. I would love to know an average but I guess that will be really impossible.
I would like to talk to you though about the people that stay in our life for a little while. Some will be doctors or teachers. Others will become friends. Friends can however stay friends forever and some will become people we know or just acquaintances. Sometimes is sad when the friends will not stay friends forever but I guess life and responsibilities get in the way of things. Besides my sister which will be my best friend forever there are a couple of people out there that will be my friends forever no matter what happens.
I met these two girls – ladies now – when I was 15 years old. Sixteen 16 years passed and we’ve been there for each other through the good and bad. We laughed when we were happy. We cried when we were upset. We hugged when we suffered from love. And we were there for each other when we got married.
Now we live in different countries and we don’t see each other or speak to each other as often. We all have kids and responsibilities. Sometimes we all manage to meet in my home town for some other wedding or holiday. Before we had kids it was easier. Now it is a bit harder. It’s sad and I miss them dearly but I know that they will be my friends no matter what happens. Hopefully future will enable us to see each other more often and spend more time together.
