A digital postcard from #teamhonk – Ghana

Three of my fellow bloggers and friends – Annie, Penny and Mummy Barrow are visiting Ghana this week. They are there with Davina and Jonathan Ross.
The purpose of the trip? Well they are there to for a trip to see the good work that has been done as a result of the past twenty five years worth of donations to Red Nose Day – @rednoseday.For the last couple of days they visited a several places. One place where the donations made a big difference is the vaccination clinic.
As you can see below a mum get her baby vaccinated at the clinic.

The vaccination programme is similar to the UK, except Comic Relief funds rotavirus vaccinations which give 105 of deaths in the under 5s are caused by diarrhoea triggered by this virus, is very good news.

Having your child vaccinated can be heartbreaking. I only had my newborn vaccinated at the beginning of the week and I shared a tear 🙁 However I know that is better for her to have it.
Is even more important for the children in Africa to have it as it is saving their lives!

This is a digital postcard sent from TeamHonk (www.mammasaurus.co.uk;www.aresidence.co.uk; www.mummybarrow.com) during their travels with Comic Relief in Ghana celebrating #goodwork.

For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work. Find out how at rednoseday.com.
