Cool lunch with Warburtons Krazy Kitchen
When it comes to lunches i am a bit lost on what to give my 4 year old. She loves sandwiches and pasta more than anything but some days she says she is bored of what i give her. Yes…this is the way my 4 year old is.But because of Krazy Kitchen yesterday i was able to prepare my daughter the very best of lunch – A Spicy Mexican Wrap.
Like the recipe says it was a Tex-Mex Mayhem. She loved it even though the bits of salad went everywhere. Warburtons provided us with the very best ingredients and a recipe so all we had to do is to prepare it!

Doesn’t it look great? A bit spicy but still a good choice for both parents and kids! Mummy even enjoyed a bottle of Corona…like you do 🙂
If you would like to make the above too here is what you need.
Ingredients:
- 2 Warburtons square wraps
- Refried beans
- Handful of salad leaves
- Wuarter of avocado,peeled and chopped
- Quarter red chilli, finey chopped(optional – if you give it to your children is better not to use it)
- 2 tablespoons of yoghurt
- Drizz;e of olive oil
- Squeeze of fresh lime
- Jalapenos from a jar(again do not put too many if your children are young)
Start by mixing the chopped avocado, fresh lime, olive oil and finely chopped red chilli in a bowl and slightly mash.
Lay out the wrap on a plate of your choice. Fill it with a handful of the salad leaves and refried beans.
Add the mex mash and 2 tablespoons of yoghurt.
Add the jalapenos if you want the wrap to be spicy.
Enjoy!
But what it’s all this about with Warburtons Krazy Kitchen though?
Warburtons in their quest of trying to make families lunches a bit Krazy, they launched a gameshow on their Facebook Page. But what is this gameshow? Well in it two families compete against each other in making the best sandwish whilst crazy things happen around them. You know like you will try to do when your children are playing hide and seek and the baby cries 🙂 Or something like that….anyway…There are even people dressed in chickens! LOL!
