Before my child can fall asleep I have to…

Getting boogie prepared for her sleep its been daddy’s “thing” since about a year ago and I rarely put her to sleep now. Feeling guilty as I am writing this. But…we always watch a couple of Peppa Pig episodes. We give each other kisses and cuddle before I lay her in the cot and tuck her in but daddy reads her a story – so he is the one that sees her last.

One thing I do that makes my child laugh is…

Boogie loves being tickled and she will even take my hand and direct me to whatever she would love being tickled next. She loves running around through the house chasing daddy and I and she is doing all that naked! Hahaha. To tell you the truth boogie is a happy child and you can always hear her giggle.

One thing my child does that makes me laugh is…

Boogie makes me laugh all the time! But I do love when she says things like :”Silly mummy” , “careful mummy” , “what you doing mummy”, and love the way she is walking through the house pushing her little shopping trolley saying “going shopping now…” whilst holding her little bag on her shoulder.

I’m more lenient than I thought I would be about…

Routine. Since I was pregnant I was convince that we will need a routine for our little one. I still feel that if boogie doesn’t have a proper sleep next day she will be grumpy. The other thing it is Eating – I promised myself that I will never force my daughter to eat anything or all her food from her plate. So that is why I approached baby led weaning with boogie. And she loves it. I strongly believe that is she is hungry she will eat but if she is not she will give it a skip.

One of the most ridiculous things I’ve said as a parent is…

Ah…boogie cached me in bathroom changing my absorbant and when she asked me what it was I said that “it’s mummy’s nappy” yes I did say that! To which she asked “so you put it on and walk?” and I answered “Yes”. I know I do feel ashamed…argh…

The best rule in our house is…

We don’t have any rules! But we always eat together at the same table on Sundays and mummy will try to bake something sweet as well!

Sometimes I wish I could snap my fingers and make my child…

Potty trained! It is a struggle and it seems like we will never ever get there! She is so good at other things but not when it comes to using the potty!
