Olive bread and giveaway
I’m not a baking expert at all but I love it all together. I do well when I bake things like muffins or cookies but when it comes to bread it another story.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong as I’m trying to follow the recipe. Anyway I will keep trying until I will get better at it!
This week i have for you a bread recipe.
I baked an olive bread following a recipe from Baking Mad website. This recipe is a Valentine’s day recipe anf of course it can be found under the Valentine’s Day category. I wish I was brave enough to try other recipes too but maybe next time.
As you can see it didn’t grow very much but I’m still proud I try it out. I did use wholemeal flour instead of white so I guess it will look differently.
If you have any advice on how to bake the perfect bread I will love to hear from you!
Maybe you should try the recipe too and see how it goes. There are lots of interesting recipes on the Baking Mad website though so you should have a look. They have categories as – Valentines Day, Baking with Mum, Around the world, Kids Baking etc. There’s something for everybody!
I do have another surprise for all my readers though! A giveaway!
The lovely people at http://www.bakingmad.com/ offer the readers of my blog a Baking Mad Apron and their British Baking in 2012 book!
For a chance to win enter the rafflecopter below:
Please note that this competition is only open to UK entrants!

I really enjoy baking; my favourite cake flavours are ginger and lemon, usually separately, but I found a great recipe for lemon ginger drop cookies online and they are a dream, so easy to make too.

I am pretty rubbish at baking but I am trying to get better. I would say that chocolate crispies are about my limit. My little one is just turned one so i want to get better baking for him.
