I started school and proper writing when i was 7 year old. Back then on Ceausescu time we were not allowed to write with anything else besides a proper pen. Not even pencils were allowed and if a mistake was made on a page you had to rip the whole page and start from the beginning.
Learning to draw lines, write letters and numbers….
Needless to say i use to hate those times. My mum’s training is in drawing and writing beautifully so you can imagine the pressure on being perfect.
And as i wasn’t most of the times i had my pages rip by my mum.
But thanks to companies like Stabilo life for kids and parents it is a lot easier these days.
My eldest daughter is 4 and half now and she loves drawing but sometimes she finds difficult to hold some of the pens.
Stabilo send us a Stabilo Early Writers bumper package to help me introduce writing to my daughter and tell you about it too. If you want you can download the Early Writers Activity Sheet Creator free on their website.
To help us with our quest into the world of writing we were also sent four different types of writing stationary:
- Woody 3 in 1 – coming in 18 different colours this is great for children that love drawing so as you can imagine this is Kara’s favourite pencil especially because is daddy’s avourite colour – red;
- EASYgraph – perfect for the children that are just learning to write and for schoolchildren this pencils comes in right hand or left hand version;
- Trio Thick – this pencil is for young children that do a lot of colouring; we received a blue one but there are 17 other colours;
- Trio Scribbi – for children that use a pen for the first time; coming in 12 different colours is very appealing for children and you can be relaxed because your little one can’t break it as easily as it has a push-resistant thick tip.
Out these for i really like the Trio Scribbi – the look and the feel of it and i am planning to
purchase more and have all the colours for the girls. The quality is amazing and it is definitely my first brand choice when it comes to purchasing pens and pencils.
Do you use Stabilo in your house? If so which one is your favourite?
