Scramble eggs is a recipe that everybody knows and loves especially in England. I discovered this dish one sunday morning when a bit hangover I went out for breakfast with my beloved husband at one of the many cafes in Hammersmith, London.
The first time I thought: “why is everybody raving about them?there’s nothing special about it!” But then as my husband and my girls love them I tried and tried several times to make the perfect scramble eggs. I had breakfast disasters and not so bad breakfasts but then as I was watching one of my cookery channels, a Gordon Ramsey programs started and he demonstrated how to make perfect scrambled eggs,
Needless to say the next morning I tried them out and since then I always make his recipe. He serves the eggs with mushrooms but I like them even simple as above.
Here is the video for the recipe:
Following the exact steps at the end I only added lots of dill and a dollop of cream cheese. To finish I took a spring onion slice it and sprinkle it on top of the scramble eggs! All this on a piece of wholemeal bread is just…YUM!
It was yummy and simple and ready in less than 10 minutes! Why don’t you try it and let me know how it went?
