Disneyland Paris – Meeting the characters
One of the biggest and most exciting experience kids can live while at Disneyland is meeting their favourite cartoon characters. I know my two were and I am sure that most kids and some adults are.
There are many ways to meet the characters by either waiting in queue to see them and you can do that every morning with Mickey, Minnie ,Goofy, Pooh Bear etc. (these can take a long time – we waited to see Minnie for about an hour and a half) , by waiting to spot them on the daily parade (like above), by visiting Mickey’s house, by waiting in queue to visit the princesses, by dining at Auberge de Cendrillon or by being there when the characters are out for there daily parade at the Walt Disney Studious.
In all you have make sure you arm yourself with a lot of patience, snacks and drinks. My youngest fell asleep in my arms while waiting to see Mickey at Mickey House.
While waiting to see the characters parade it was really cold(the downside of visiting in march) so the girls had to have some hot chocolate to warm themselves up. At the Walt Disney parade you can also get autographs from the characters so it is quite good as there are lots of them around and you can get a dozen in only half an hour.
My girls mostly enjoy meeting the princesses as one would expect from little girls. The highlight was the time we spent at Auberge de Cendrillon and meeting Rapunzel:
Disneyland Paris is THE place for children. If you would like to see your children smile all the time then this is the place. If you plan long enough in advance it will not cost you a lot of money either.
As I said the Walt Disney Studious was really good when it came around meeting the characters. It is really pity that it was very cold though.

Gorgeous photos. I’m looking to take Amy next year but I bet I’ll be even more excited than her, haha. I love Disney!

Ah your photos take me back to when we went 13 years ago with my older ones! We have been talking about maybe visiting next year – just working out when is the best time for Kit and Oz to get the most out of it as they are just too short for a few ride restrictions so we are holding off till they grow a tiny bit more!

Such an array of characters to see and meet, I’d love to take my children to Disneyland one day to enjoy the magic of it all.
