Easy DIY Man Cave Ideas To Incorporate In Your Home

It took six years in the making but now we are finally all together.

Hubby is finally home which means that we really need to start renovating the garage and transform it into a place of business for both of us and of course to make our girls bedrooms.

We are both working from home too so money shouldn’t be a problem for us but we should still try and save as much as we can.

Until we manage to do that though we still have to do a couple of things around our living space.

You see our home was mostly lived by girls in the last 6 years so the place is filled with girls things – decorated to suit more female taste.

My husband didn’t mind it until he moved home but he feels like she should also have his own space. That is a bit difficult when you are only living in a 3 rooms accommodation though…

He says I have the kitchen to arrange as I wish which is excellent, and certainly a reason that you should consider a luxury kitchen! Or at least one that really suits your needs. Although this post is dedicated to a man cave, a quick nod to the kitchen won’t hurt!

When you are thinking about the type of kitchen you need, consider how you like too, for how many you are cooking and how often. This will mean you have the perfect kitchen set up for you! Click here for some cool info on why a lux kitchen matters.

So until he could decorate a room entirely for himself I do have to make do and make him happy to be at home too. Not that he is not though.

For now he has his own side of the bed LOL and a couple of shelves with his books and of course his desk in our bedroom. But apparently that is not enough so I started to look online for ideas.

I mean I would love for him to have his own room where he can do his manly activities or just be alone to watch a horror movie and or read his favourite book or make his videos but until then he will need to make do.

I think a room like the one below would be quite suitable but for now he needs to be happy with the living room.

My husband loves movies, music, books, beers, collecting coins and more recently gin so I looked for inspiration that would incorporate the above.

I mean I could always replace our existing clock in the kitchen with a beer clock like the one below:

Or make him a frame with silver coins that I could buy from here. I think he will be quite happy with one of them as he loves collecting special and old coins.

I also think that he would love to have one of these table barrels somewhere around the house or even in the garden why not?

It’s probably way bigger for our small living room though so in the garden will be better.

Oh look and this one was transformed into a proper bar:

Quite cool isn’t it?

One thing I know my husband would really love if we could incorporate it in his “man cave” or in our house right now though is a DART BOARD!

You can of course buy it but you could also make it yourself. We already own a dart board so we would only need the back of it which you can make like below out of pallet or simply by buying wood:

I am also really liking this Engraved Wine Cork Holder Beer Cap Holder w/ Opener. We could certainly integrated in our kitchen right now.

Or maybe this simpler version a DIY bottle opener like the one I found on Shanti 2 Chic website. Hop over to the website to see exactly what you need to make it.

Finally I think he would really enjoy to have his favourite comic characters/books on display like you can find below:

What other “man cave” ideas could we incorporate in our home to make it more pleasurable for my husband do you think?

Would love if you could share some of your ideas with us!
