• Cruelty or insanity?!?

The last couple of weeks been overshadowed by news of parents killing their kids…how sad! Reading the stories just made me feel sad and think of the reasons why a parent would do such a thing to their child. My daughter is the light of my eyes and I can’t imagine a greater love that the love I have for her. First i read about the canadian mum who suffocated her under 5 children and then tried to kill herself without succeeding. How can a mother feel that the solution for all the problems is to end the life of her children? Only someone that suffers of deep depression maybe?…

  • iPads or not for toddlers????

iPad or not for my two year old? Before my birthday this year I didn’t have an iPad so this post would not exist if right now if I did not have an iPad! You should encourage your child to help in…

Hm..this is a mistery still for me. Is my daughter ready?Am i ready? I don’t think i am ready to let go to my baby daughter yet. My baby daughter for which i still need to change nappies for and some times chase through the house because she doesn’t want to take her dirty nappy off! We have a few potties around the house but she’s treating them like toys at the moment. She puts toys in one of them and carries them around…it is funny you know….But i am worried at the same time. • Tips on how to calm

Tips on how to calm your toddler

Just read about this recently and thought i should share it with you. I am going through this at the moment and it is really difficult! Tantrums and how parents survive them?!?!? Distraction They say it works…The plan is to distract your toddler whenever they throw a tantrum by removing them from the situation and making them look at something else. Using humour is a positive distraction technique. Making your child laugh not only distracts them, but lightens the mood for both of you. An instant way to calm your child is to sit and read with them. Young children are easily absorbed and switch off from their surroundings and…
