• Sisters {March}

    Sisters {march}

    There are truly no words to describe my love for my two girls. They are my world and the reason why I go on. Like any person suffering of depression my days are sometimes harder to get through but because of my two girls I continue to fight surviving it and go on.   I am considering myself very lucky that I can work from home and be here for my girls 24/7 – it’s what the joy of blogging brings to me. My girls are now 7 and 3 and the bond between them grows more and more. Although their characters are so different – my eldest is rather…

  • Sisters { January}

    Sisters {Jan/Feb}

    Over the last year my blog was not updated as it used to be but I want to start doing again and what better way to do it  than by telling you all about my two beautiful daughters. I stopped writing my monthly “Siblings” post around the end of last year I think…And because I stopped doing it and because I was so busy with my now work from home job I even stopped taking so many pictures with my girls. So I really need to get back to my passion – photography. This month pictures were mostly took with my phone so please do forgive me for it. My eldest is…

  • A new beginning

    The new school year officially started today in Romania. This day also marked the beginning of new things for my girls. While Kara is starting Year 1,  Anastasia is also starting her 1st year in Nursery. For Kara the start of Year 1 means that she will start to have homework and to be graded. I think it will be difficult for her and it will take a while for her to get used to be graded with Insufficient, Sufficient, Good or Very Good. It is a big step! I am sorry I didn’t take a picture so I can show you her face when she was told that tomorrow and the…

  • Siblings – The Summer Edition

    It’s been a really busy summer and I really can’t believe how fast it flown by, We spent almost a month in UK and since we’ve been home we had so much fun. We spent most of our time going to the beach, visiting friends and going out at the park and…let’s not forget we had lots of parties. I guess time spent like this with a couple kids will never be boring. I took lots of pictures while we were out and about in UK – lots of memories to look at. My favourite two pictures are the below:   I love how happy both girls look in both…

  • Disneyland Paris – Meeting the characters

    One of the biggest and most exciting experience kids can live while at Disneyland is meeting their favourite cartoon characters. I know my two were and I am sure that most kids and some adults are.   There are many ways to meet the characters by either waiting in queue to see them and you can do that every morning with Mickey, Minnie ,Goofy, Pooh Bear etc. (these can take a long time – we waited to see Minnie for about an hour and a half) , by waiting to spot them on the daily parade (like above), by visiting Mickey’s house, by waiting in queue to visit the princesses,…

  • Life challenges

    We are back in England after a bit over two years now. Not to stay. Just to visit. Unfortunately our money situation still doesn’t allow us to live here as a family. Plus the fact that we have no family support is another thing that keeps our family apart. I guess is one of those things that we have to go through. Other families have their own challenges so really…I should not complain. I know that s very important for the family to be together but sometimes the things are not as easy as that. We’ve been here three days already and my girls already suffer in a way. I…

  • My precious arrows

    I promised myself that every time that I will post about my girls I will find ways to describe my love through them through words. I try to post pictures of them every week and also take part in the “Living Arrows” meme. This is where my idea came from today and I think that I will even make a collage of photos and stick these words in the middle too!   My every day quest is to make my girls happy and smiley. The hardest thing I even done is to tell them off for something. I wish I could let them play as much as they want to…
