• Meat Free Monday

#Meatfreemonday: Tasty vegetarian options the whole family will enjoy

Cooking for a four and seven year old can be demanding, and most of the time one of them will refuse to eat or ask for something different. We’ve recently introduced ‘Meat Free Monday’ into our home and the girls have really taken to it. It’s been a great way of getting them to help choose our meals, teach them about the environment and also the importance of a healthy diet. The official #MeatFreeMonday website is packed full of nutritious recipes, from celebrity chefs to tried and tested family favourites from the McCartney family. One of my favourites has got to be Jamie Oliver’s pumpkin, chickpea and coconut curry. The sweet…

  • Meaty Cupcakes

    Meaty Cupcakes

Cooking for a 2 year old and a 5 year old can be hard at times as most of the times one of them will definitely refuse to eat. They never like the same things and usually one of two plates ends up in the trash. As mummy is on a diet…they usually eat differently. However there is one thing we can all eat together – meaty cupcakes! I mean they do eat meatballs cooked in the oven too but changing shape is just lovely for them. 4.5 from 4 reviews Meaty Cupcakes   Print Prep time 10 mins Cook time 25 mins Total time 35 mins   Meaty Cupcakes…

  • Beans with smoked pork ham

This is truly a Romanian recipe. More romanian than this you can’t find i think.  One i always eat with pleasure but at the same time one that I never manage to cook as well as my mum or grandmother. • Pumpkin casserole recipe and preparing for Halloween

My husband is the one that is the specialist when it comes to Halloween but as he is not here with us i need to be the one that needs to take care of everything and try and make the celebration special for my daughters. Kara is really looking forward to tomorrow especially because i said that we will have a party! She doesn’t even care that it will only be for the three of us.
