• My 5 favourite family destinations for young children

Guest blogger: Katie is a self-confessed traveloholic. Travelling across Europe, Asia and Africa with her family has provided them with new experiences, new recipes and unforgettable memories.  http://www.delightso.me I’ve always loved travel so becoming a mum wasn’t going to curb my enthusiasm for overseas adventures. In fact, it’s probably heightened it because now I get to share my adventures with my two little ones. My eldest had her first trip on a plane when she was just three months old and my youngest managed to beat even that, boarding his first flight a month earlier. Despite the obvious difficulties of having to haul more equipment and luggage around with us,…

  • Conflicted

Life… It certainly isn’t easy. As soon as you feel like you know what you doing and you are comfortable with your decisions something happens and all is taking a new perspective. I am the kind of person who like stability and change disturbs me out of my way. It makes me feel restless and conflicted. It makes me wonder constantly if the things I am doing are the right ones for me, my family and our future.I was born and lived until I finished high school in only one city. This is why I thought that after I will get married my life will be in only one city…

  • 2014 – Happy New Year!

Last year was a life changing, difficult and interesting year all together. I am not gong to talk about what happened last year because i already done it in a different post. I am hoping that this year will come with more happiness then the year before though. I am hoping that i will change my way of thinking and concentrate more on the positive side of things rather than on the negative side of things. I will try and enjoy the good and positive in my life. I think this will be better than try and change the negative. Sometimes negative things need to happen. Taking a break from blogging…

  • Guest Post: My new style crushes – and how I’m stealing their style this season

While I’ll happily drool over celebrities’ red carpet moments, it’s not very often that I attend a movie premiere with a bunch of A-listers so my inspiration tends to come from looking at stars’ off duty style or even spotting someone walking past on the street who has put an outfit together in a way I might not have thought of. Here are just a few of my fashion crushes at the moment, and the pieces I’ll be buying to steal their style. Lena Dunham Country pop star Taylor Swift has recently named Girls star Lena Dunham as one of her style crushes. And I have to say I agree.…

  • How To Ice A Christmas Cake With Ready To Roll Icing

Source – rensawbaking.com Christmas is nearly here, and among the late night shopping, present wrapping and festive celebrations you need to find the time to make a Christmas cake for everyone to enjoy after that delicious roast dinner. Christmas cake is actually fairly straightforward to put together, but getting a pristine finish to the icing can be a little tricky, especially if you’re not used to using ready to roll icing. You’ll need a fruit cake for your base, which should then be coated in a marzipan layer to both trap in the moisture of the cake and provide a firm, smooth surface for the icing. Once you’ve applied the…
