• Life as a married single parent

    A holiday with my daughters

These days (since we moved back home anyway) we go on holiday as a family when daddy has a holiday from work. But as he is not coming until august this summer I thought that will be nice to treat my girls with a getaway to the beach anyway. Before he comes home we usually go to the outdoor pool in town or for a day trip to the beach. We live only about half an hour drive from the beach but as I didn’t manage to pass my driving exam last year it is still quite difficult to get there without a car. Sometimes my dad is taking us…

  • Disneyland Paris – Meeting the characters

One of the biggest and most exciting experience kids can live while at Disneyland is meeting their favourite cartoon characters. I know my two were and I am sure that most kids and some adults are.   There are many ways to meet the characters by either waiting in queue to see them and you can do that every morning with Mickey, Minnie ,Goofy, Pooh Bear etc. (these can take a long time – we waited to see Minnie for about an hour and a half) , by waiting to spot them on the daily parade (like above), by visiting Mickey’s house, by waiting in queue to visit the princesses,…

    June YouTube Favourites

It’s been a while since our last YouTube Favourites posts but here we are again! Although I recorded quite a LOT of videos in the past month I hardly edited any! I know I am a lazy bum! but when you have two kids under the age of 6 it happens and plus I am not very good at editing so it takes me a while! But despite all I still uploaded a couple of videos on my own channel Otilia Stocks and on my eldest channel Boog TV.  Here is the latest uploaded: It’s a small world – Disneyland Paris Yes there is a lot to catch up from…

  • March YouTube Favourites

Here we are with the second post on YouTube favourites. Although we (hubby, I) filmed quite a lot in the last month I didn’t really had a lot of time to edit videos but we continue to love watching things on YouTube. Ok daddy is watching only the things we send him but the girls and I are quite addicted to it so of course we have to tell you all about it too. Since our last post we only published only one post on logging but it contains one video with me and one with my youngest which is a great treat! Do visit and see what we have to say…

  • Interflora’s Priceless Mum’ challenge

As you know we love youtube in our home and we are trying to do/film our own videos to share with you too. This is why we loved taking part in Interflora’s Priceless Mum Challenge! Creating these two videos made us think and cherish even more the love we have for each other as a mother and daughter. My youngest is just a bit too small to share her thoughts about what you will see. Despite that she did make it quite difficult for us to film so we had lots and lots of takes and in the end we chose what it was best. Hope you like it and…

  • YouTube Favourites

We – my girls and I – are kind of mad for YouTube at the moment. We can watch it straight on the big TV thanks to our Samsung Smart Tv + Apple TV. Everything – music videos , cartoon, crafting tutorials, kinder eggs cracking, parenting , nursery rhymes…etc. etc. But of course we all prefer certain you tubers and channels and so I thought it will be cool to introduce you with our favourites! Both girls really enjoy watching EvanTubeHD. Evan and his sister have more than 1 mil followers so we are not the only ones watching them with so much interest. They are cute and funny and…

  • YouTube adventure – Boog TV

Since she was about 2 years old my eldest started to use You Tube. She has her own account on gmail because I created for her when she was still a baby as a way to use Picasa to share pictures with the family that was living abroad. Facebook was not an option then although I had an account…people just didn’t share as many personal pictures on there. So when mummy receive an iPad as a present from daddy for her birthday besides doing her own thing(I started blogging in 2011) she started to also put her baby nursery rhymes on YouTube. Little by little Kara started knowing more and…
