    No-bake dark chocolate cheesecake

    This weekend I decided that it was time for me to make another cheesecake. I mean its been a while and I know how much my hubby likes them. Last time I made a milk chocolate cheesecake as hubby like milk chocolate not dark chocolate. Anyway this time around I thought I would give it a try and see if he likes it. Figures that he loved it!     Cheesy muffins

    This is the first time I am baking these muffins but I think they are quite tasty! So here is the recipe: Ingredients 2 Cups Plain Flour 1 teaspoons salt 225 grams Margarine 1 Cup Cheese 2 Eggs 1 Cup Milk 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder Paprika Extra Grated Cheese Rub margarine into the flour and baking powder,add the cheese. Beat eggs with milk and mix into the flour mixture. Grease muffin tin and divide the mixture equally into the tin. Sprinkle extra cheese and paprika on the top of the muffins and bake at 200C for 20 minutes. This is a Nigella inspired recipe! Tada!

    Vitamin Salad

    Today a very quick and healthy recipe from the romanian repertoire…Enjoy! Ingredients: 1 carrot 1 medium celery root 2 small cucumbers 1 big apple 3 nice tomatoes 5 – 6 ripe plums (or 2 – 3 tablespoons of pitted sour cherries) ½ cup sour cream juice from ½ lemon 1 teaspoon confectioner’s sugar saltClean the carrot and celery root, julienne, place in a salad bowl, add thinly sliced cucumbers and apple, peeled, seeded and sliced tomatoes, sliced plums or pitted sour cherries. Mix everything with the sour cream to which you added lemon juice, sugar and salt, just before serving.

    Grilled Pepper Salad – Salata de ardei copti

     As promised and maybe a bit faster than i thought it will be here is the recipe for the Grilled Pepper Salad. This can be a hassle for some and opening a jar of grilled peppers might be better. But hear me when i say that none of the peppers found in the shops will taste better than this!! This is the way my mum and my grandmother use to cook it!!
