    Paste Fericit/ Happy Easter to all orthodox out there! Hope you all have a fantastic day and you will spend it with family and friends. Easter is about love and forgiveness so be kind and warm today! Unfortunately my parents and my sister are far away so I’m spending Easter without them. Fortunately I am with my hubby and my beautiful daughter so even though we will not celebrate the Romanian way we will be together.   • Palm Day (Flowers Day)

    Happy Easter to all of you that celebrate Easter today!  In the orthodox religion Easter is next week Sunday. Today however we celebrate “Palm Day” or Flowers Day. This was initially dedicated to the Roman goddess Flora, but then it was celebrated in the memory of the Jesus’ entrance to Jerusalem. This day is the celebration of the nature revival, when the willows, the fruit trees and the flowers bloom. The willow plays a very important role in the rituals.     This weekend at the Tots 100 Christmas party I start thinking that I should write this post. What is your Christmas tradition? What is the Christmas tradition that you HAVE to repeat every year because this is what you learned from your parents or just makes it CHRISTMAS for you?
