You see my family – hubby and boogie – don’t like aubergines so even if traditionally this spread is made with them I thought I should give it a try to the beans one.     This is a recipe that i absolutely love! My mum is the master in cooking it and for me she is the best cook in the world!     Country Style Salad – Salata taraneasca

     So another day another recipe for a romanian salad. It seems that now is tradition…. This recipe is so simple! When i was little i use to help my grandmother prepare it. Ingredients: 2 eggs hard boiled and cooled 2 large boiling potatoes – peeled and sliced 2 green peppers cored and sliced 2 tomatoes , sliced 1 large onion peeled and sliced salt and pepper to taste 6 ripe black olives 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped 1 recipe vinaigrette(in another post) Peel and slice eggs.      As promised and maybe a bit faster than i thought it will be here is the recipe for the Grilled Pepper Salad. This can be a hassle for some and opening a jar of grilled peppers might be better.
