Friday Foodie – Valentine’s Day Eats

I loved hosting the Friday Foodie linky these last couple of weeks. The recipes linked were really different. We had soups, muffins, tarts, drinks and cupcakes linked up so this round up is really interesting. My overall favourite though is the recipe submitted by SuperGoldenBakes – Heart shaped churros with chocolate: This lady knows how to cook and present her food and I desperately want to be half as good as she is. We all have lots to learn from her don’t you think? Friday Foodie Winner!

I do apologise for taking a bit longer to choose a winner for the last month of Friday Foodie 2013 but I have to agree that it was a difficult one. So today I visited all the entries again and analyse all the comments on the entries websites and on my linky and the overall winner was very clear. So…the Winner of the 20£ Amazon vouchers is…Emma from A Bavarian Sojourn Blog: Her recipe is everything I was looking for: simple, delicious and really yummy looking! Congratulations Emma and please do get in touch with the right address to use to send you the voucher!

Anastasia is a bit tired as you can see but she loved…

I just love running this linky/round-up at the beginning of the weekend. It gives me and so many others inspiration. They were so many fantastic recipes submitted last week it was really hard to choose one recipe as a favourite. In the end i went for the recipe that make me feel of happy while reading the recipe, while looking at the pictures. So here it is – TA-DA! Easy Apple Tart Tatin with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Doesn’t look amazing? What else can you ask from a dessert if not the perfect combination between baked apple , ice cream and soft pastry? Thank you for sharing this recipe with…
