Vintage Holiday at the Black Sea
The beach I first met (if I could say so) is on the black sea of course in my home country Romania. My home town is only at a 30 miles distance from the nearest beach. I know..not exactly there…but close enough for the people that live hundreds of miles away to be envious.
In our days the beach is very modern and full of sun beds and umbrellas all lined up and waiting for people to be seated(for a daily fee) plus lots of bars and restaurants with dishes for all tastes.
You already saw some of my pictures from our holiday in Eforie Nord so although I do have more to share now I want to share with you some vintage images that show how people use to enjoy their time in the sun in different times.
Hope you enjoyed the images and that they put a smile on your face.

Looks like a lovely beach. I do like the old fashioned feel to the images. Makes me want to be at the beach right now.

Makes me wish I was living then and not now…

The beach I first met (if I could say so)
reads like the opening line of a novel, to me. And looking at these beautiful vintage photos, I definitely think there could be a novel set on the beautiful coastline of your country, Otilia, are you up for writing it? xx
Otilia
Oh my Ruth…I don’t know…I never thought about writing a novel…I just don’t think I have things to say that people will read if you know what I mean…But now that you asked…I don’t know 🙂 Could never ever write like you! You are the one that should write a novel.
