    A Crood history lesson

The Croods. Featuring the vocal talents of Nicholas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds The Croods is a lesson in prehistory like you have never seen before. Follow a family of unorthodox cave dwellers, as they are forced to venture out into the unknown world after the untimely destruction of their cave. Who would have ever predicted the break up of the continents would happen right in their post code. Along the way you will see such strange creatures as the Bearowl, Piranhakeet and the Giraffeoceros to name just a few. All of whom look like the freaky creations of a crazed geneticist. Heinz Breakfast Range(Review)

A little while back i was writing you about the Heinz Baby Pouches – Baby A really enjoyed them and my husband even both some to have for the moments when mummy doesn’t feel like cooking or for when we are out and about. Now the time has come to tell you a bit about Heinz new Breakfast baby range – one that even if she is almost 5 years old Kara enjoys too. I guess is because her younger sister is eating them too. But what exactly does the Heinz Breakfast range includes? Breakfast cereals: smooth baby rice, creamy oat porridge, summer fruit cereals, blueberry porridge; New ready-to-eat breakfast pots:…

Put out my hand, and touched the face of God!

The title of this post comes from a poem by John Gillespie Magee and it pretty much sums up the thoughts I had after watching The Hidden Universe 3D at the London Science Museum Imax. From the very opening scene of the earth rising up in front of you, you are plunged head first into the mystery of the universe. From the beautiful symmetry of a twirling galaxy to the violent chaos of a nebula with burning new born stars at its heart. The images just fill your mind with wonder, and with the true insignificance of our world. Carina Nebula: Caption: The cosmic glow of the Carina Nebula, which…

    Bath time with Matey!

Children love baths, when they’re young anyway. Teenagers can be a different matter but that’s a conversation for another time. For now lets talk about small children. Little ones love splashing around in the bath, playing with bath toys and soaking mum and dad in the process. Lets face it, if our children get us wet while bathing them it just adds to the fun for parents and child. When I bath Boogie we can end up having more water around the bath than in it and even though I will spend 30 minutes cleaning up afterward it is always worth it. One of the best things about bath times…

    Stabilo Early Writers Pack (Review)

I started school and proper writing when i was 7 year old. Back then on Ceausescu time we were not allowed to write with anything else besides a proper pen. Not even pencils were allowed and if a mistake was made on a page you had to rip the whole page and start from the beginning. Learning to draw lines, write letters and numbers…. Needless to say i use to hate those times. My mum’s training is in drawing and writing beautifully so you can imagine the pressure on being perfect. And as i wasn’t most of the times i had my pages rip by my mum. But thanks to…

Mr. Men – My Complete Collection (Review)

We were very lucky to receive the entire Mr. Men Collection to review a while ago. My 4 and a half year old daughter grow up watching the cartoon. I think Channel 5 is the channel where you will find it. Kara was very impressed to see how many books she received. No matter how many books she has in her bookcase she is always happy and jumping when she receives new ones.  As you can see above she had all reasons to be happy! She doesn’t know how to read yet but she is happy that mummy will read her a new little book every single night at bedtime.…
