• A Stay Of Premium Quality – Premier Inn

Since changing my job just over a year ago I have become a well-travelled man.  Sometimes in Europe but mainly here in good old Blighty! That means, of course, that I have stayed in a multitude of hotels. Ranging from the basic to the luxurious, depending on what’s local to the place of work. But one hotel, or should I say chain of hotels, that I am never afraid of booking is Premier Inn. I find I can always book in confidence when it comes to Premier Inns. The beds are extremely comfortable (sometimes the best sleep I get) and the rooms are usually quite spacious and clean. There is…

  • Dr Who Experience Cardiff

    The Doctor Who Experience

Over the last year our eldest has become a big fan of Doctor Who. So on their recent trip back to the UK I thought it would be fun to visit the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff. (The spiritual home of the Current, revived series) She had no idea where we were taking her but as soon as she spotted the familiar shape of the Tardis in the distance she became very excited indeed. Once inside she was thrilled to see actual Daleks and other props from the new adventures. As was our youngest even though she had no idea who Doctor Who was. The tour is every 30 minutes…

  • Travelling with Kids

Tips for a stress free journey with kids

This year was the first time I experienced travelling by plane with two kids. Back in March we flew to Paris but my husband was with me so supposedly things were a little bit easier. This june I done it all by myself – just me and two kids: a 31 month old and a 6 years old. I must confess that both time I was really worried but it end up being a lot better than I expected. And believe me it was pretty hard especially on the way back from UK as my youngest was full of an eczema from a penicillin allergy. Things are a little bit…

  • Disneyland Paris – Meeting the characters

One of the biggest and most exciting experience kids can live while at Disneyland is meeting their favourite cartoon characters. I know my two were and I am sure that most kids and some adults are.   There are many ways to meet the characters by either waiting in queue to see them and you can do that every morning with Mickey, Minnie ,Goofy, Pooh Bear etc. (these can take a long time – we waited to see Minnie for about an hour and a half) , by waiting to spot them on the daily parade (like above), by visiting Mickey’s house, by waiting in queue to visit the princesses,…

  • Bracknell is not London

I stated the obvious didn’t I? As you know we used to live in South West London until a couple of years ago when me and my two girls moved back for a while to my hometown – Medgidia,Romania. It was a hard move and the transition…oh my…from a busy working life to a “quiet” life as stay at home mum. Well if you are like me you know that life with kids is never dull and boring or quiet is just different isn’t it. So when it was time to comeback and visit daddy (until now he was the one making the trip to Romania) we were all very…

  • Romania Through The Lens – Alex Robciuc

A couple of weeks ago I was telling you about Kosei Miya and the photos he took with Maramures, Romania. This time around I want to tell you about a romanian photography that make me feel proud of my country – Alex Robciuc. But who is Alex Robciuc really? He is a young engineer from Sighetu Marmatiei, a self made photographer that loves his country a lot and promotes it through his beautiful photography. He takes beautiful landscape pictures but not only. He also takes beautiful portraits and I wish he was doing a course or something as I will definitely follow. Ucrainian Wedding Although sometimes sad the portraits are so beautiful…

  • Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show…with Mickey & Friends!

Last month we visited Disneyland Paris as a family but didn’t really write a lot about it over here yet. We loved it so thought that it will be nice to share some of the good times we had there with you. One of the surprises that we prepared for our daughters was the fact that we will go to the Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show…with Mickey & Friends! I didn’t know what to expect really but husband was very excited to take the girls and do you know what they loved it. Both of them even though the youngest is only 2 and a half. Even now a month after…
