• The no discipline technique

Hope you all had a nice weekend! Today I would like to you about “parenting”. Do you follow a particular method of parenting? You know like the “Baby whisperer” method or “Gina Ford” method or Supernanny’s method. I think when my daughter was a baby I was mostly following the Baby Whisperer methods. Her approach fitted with me. It seemed more human I guess. As she become a toddler Supernanny’s methods appeal more to me and my hubby. So we start implementing the “time out” method and the “reward” method. Sometimes she is ok with it but most of the time she hates being put in time out. I guess…

  • Rest & Relax

Last week I was told to rest and relax. A bit difficult when I have to work full time and look after my 3 year old daughter. My hubby helps a lot is true but I still have to do things when I come home from home or during the weekend. Is not like I can Just lay there on the bed while my husband is taking care of everything. I already think that I don’t have enough time to do everything that needs to be done…. Have you ever been told you need to rest? What…

  • Words of Wisdom 14/5

This week I wondered if I should continue writing the “Words of Wisdom” series on my blog…. Then I even wondered if I should continue writing at all and if maybe the blog is not what I need in my life at the moment…Maybe you noticed that I didn’t write a lot anyway and that my posts are rather full of self pity? Who wants to write a blog that is always depressing? I mean seriously! But then the lovely Annie the mother of http://mammasaurus.co.uk/ and LoveAllBlogs asked me to be part of the Love New Blogs team. I love her work and what she’s been doing for new and…

  • Words of Wisdom – 30/4

So what do I think about my last week? It wasn’t pretty let me tell you that. Felt a bit under the weather…and it was pretty ugly outside too…. I felt and feel like my heart is melting under pressure and fear. Change is about to happen in my life and I’m scared. I’m scared of what it will happen next. I’m quite a pessimistic person in general so you can imagine that when change happens to a person like me is quite hard to see the light of tomorrow. My life is not perfect but is what I got used to… And yes the words of wisdom for today…

  • Save the Children Conference

Holiday was nice and it was wonderful to see how much my daughter enjoy revisiting Romania and my parents. More about the way I felt at home in a future post. There are a couple of things I want to talk with you about. First the Words of Wisdom today are about GIVING: “Giving of any kind… taking an action… begins the process of change, and moves us to remember that we are part of a much greater universe. ” ― Mbali Creazzo “Even the smallest act of caring for another person is like a drop of water -it will make ripples throughout the entire pond…” ― Jessy and Bryan…
