    How to Reconnect with Yourself

No matter how much you love your life and the people in it, there are times when everybody needs a short reset. Life can often become crowded and overwhelming, whether you’re dealing with the day-to-day responsibilities that come from caring for your loved ones or taking on more than your fair share of extra duties or stresses in your professional life. If you’re starting to feel just a little bit worn out before the day has even begun, then it’s time to take a step back and reconnect with you. “ME TIME” For many people, there is a sense of guilt attached to taking some time out from those daily…

I’ve been dwelling over the keeping the “Words of Wisdom” series or not for the past couple of weeks. The same themes are going through my mind and ideally don’t want to make these posts something boring to read or something that my adders will delete as soon as it arrives in their inbox. I will keep it going for another 4 weeks though and try and think of themes that are more interesting. For this week I thought that a good theme will be PLAY. “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” George Bernard Shaw   Also if you would like…

    Foregiveness

Forgiving brings happiness. I think this is what my friend Suzie wanted to say when say the following words of Facebook: I think it’s something we need to practice on a daily basis…just letting the little things go will help with the big things. I started by forgiving people who would knock into me/rush past me on the way to work. It’s amazing the difference you feel when you just say to yourself ‘it’s ok’ rather than getting annoyed. This really helped me with the bigger things xxxx She is a good friend that I met in real life. Her words hunt me at the moment…LOL. But I am trying…

We were blessed with a really nice weather in London for the past week. Finally the long waited summer arrived and it was really hot as well! I’m sure you all enjoyed it and you spent lots of I’ve outdoors. We did too! My daughter even enjoyed preparing and getting dressed for nursery as she was able to wear her dresses with ought tights every day. As we only have a balcony and the apartment was quite hot we spent most of our weekend outdoors. We visited our fantastic Dean City Farm situated in Colliers Wood on Saturday. If you live around the area then you know it’s a cool…

This week I wondered if I should continue writing the “Words of Wisdom” series on my blog…. Then I even wondered if I should continue writing at all and if maybe the blog is not what I need in my life at the moment…Maybe you noticed that I didn’t write a lot anyway and that my posts are rather full of self pity? Who wants to write a blog that is always depressing? I mean seriously! But then the lovely Annie the mother of http://mammasaurus.co.uk/ and LoveAllBlogs asked me to be part of the Love New Blogs team. I love her work and what she’s been doing for new and…
