New app – Bob the Builder
There is no surprise for you my readers anymore. When it comes to apps my daughter is like a little addict. She always wants more and more apps to play on my Iphone and Ipad.
Playing with apps its quite a good activity when it is raining outside, on long car or plane journeys as it can keep her entertained quite well.
Even though my daughter is quite girly she still enjoys boys apps. And why not? What’s not to enjoy about a good up.
Launched on 25th of July and now available on all IOS devices, the app offers preschoolers interactive early learning fun across a range of easy to play games and activities:
Playtime Fun is created with colourful artwork from Bob the Builder’s vibrant CGI world andfeatures favourite characters including Muck, Scoop, Dizzy, and Bob himself. Games include “Clean the Can Do Crew” where children help Bob wash and hose down his muddy crew; and “Mix and Paint” where kids can mix paints together to create their own unique colours. The app also includes match, puzzles, and memory games.
Games include:
- Clean the Can Do Crew – Can you clean it? Bob the Builder’s machine wash has broken down and needs fixing. Can you help wash and hose down his muddy crew?
- Mix and Paint – Can you mix it? Mix the colours together to create the perfect palette and paint your favourite characters.
- Who Is It? – How well do you know the Can Do Crew? Match the characters to their shadows.
- Picture Puzzle – Complete the puzzle by connecting the pieces to create scenes from the TV show.
- Memory Game – Remember the location of the character cards to match all the pairs.
- Plus special Sticker Book – collect stickers throughout the games to decorate a various Bob the Builder scenes within a sticker book.

My daughter’s favourite is the puzzle of course. I wish it more more puzzles then it actually has as after a while my daughter wants more and more and gets quite annoyed they repeat. But very soon she is distracted by the mix and paint activity which she loves as well.
All around this is a good app but it will be nice if it could be improved in the future!
